Wooden Spoons December 2012

Wooden Spoons will be busy before we shut the shutters for a couple of weeks at the end of December. We'd love to see you.

Can't come? Don't forget to order your rillettes for the holidays online and have it delivered -- or pick it up at a food hub in your hood. It's the Good Eggs way, and once you try it you'll realize how much sense it makes. Don't quite get it? Having trouble or just don't feel like hassling? Shoot us an e-mail, we will explain or take your order for you.

Saturday December 1 - 1:00-5pm Bluxome Street Winery Gift Market
handcrafted food, wine, gifts
Even more beautiful stuff than usual at this beautiful venue. Wooden Spoons will be selling our jars: duck, pork and rabbit rillettes, plus brandade. Interested in a couple of Chanukah specials? check them out on the website and send us an e-mail -- we'll have them there for you to pick up.

Tuesday December 4 - 5:30-8pm - Wait Cellars Holiday Party  - RSVP for complimentary tasting
wine, rillettes, chocolate, music, kids
Award winning Wait Cellars will be showcasing their Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, Yours Truly will be serving rillettes, and the beautiful Socolo chocolates will be there tasting for us what beautiful chocolate means. There will be a kid play area with hand made blocks from Kutuu and music by The Easy Leaves.

Friday December 7 1:00-7pm La Cocina Holiday Bazaar at Crocker Galleria in SF
food, music, gifts
The list of vendors for this market is growing, and once again all local! Steps from Montgomery Street Bart.

Thursday December 13 6:00-10pm 18th Hour Cafe at Bi-Rite Market's 18 Reasons in the Mission
Wooden Spoons will be one of several local artisanal foods being tasted at this very cool weekly community event featuring beer, wine, charcuterie, cheeses, and vegan bites for $3-$18
Remember that giant 17 Reasons sign on Mission back in the day? Inspiration for the name of this 18th St. completely innovative new Community Food Space -- they're doing great things.
